All nominees for Awards must be Sports Union members or a coach registered with the Sports Union.

For non-students who, for a period of no less than three years, have been involved in the running of a club
For students, who have for a period of no less than two years, made an outstanding contribution to their club. Nominees should have fulfilled three or more of the following roles and responsibilities: (go to criteria for further information)
For students achieving a high standard of performance in sport while demonstrating commitment to student sport at the University of Ulster
For students achieving excellence in sport while demonstrating commitment to student sport at the University of Ulster
Awarded to a student who is unable to represent the University due to restraints applied by their governing body or representative committments
These Awards are for the first year students who are regarded by the Colours Awards Committee as having shown enthusiasm, commitment and made the most significant contribution, whether as participants or administrators, to their club
For the person, student or non-student who is regarded by the Colours Awards Committee as having made the most outstanding contribution to club sport at the University of Ulster through their role as a coach. This may be evidenced through performance, progression and / or commitment
This Award is for the person who is regarded by the Colours Awards Committee as having made the most outstanding contribution to student sport during the year. The Award is for administration/organisation and playing ability is not a factor. Nominations will be considered for any person (student, staff or other) involved in a club at Jordanstown and Belfast
This Award is for the person who is regarded by the Colours Awards Committee as having made the most outstanding contribution to student sport during the year. The Award is for administration/organisation and playing ability is not a factor. Nominations will be considered for any student involved in a club at Coleraine or Magee.”
This trophy is awarded to the most outstanding team in Coleraine and Magee, based on competitive success
This trophy is awarded to the most outstanding team in Jordanstown and Belfast, based on competitive success.
This is awarded to the most outstanding Sports Person in Coleraine and Magee.
This is awarded to the most outstanding sports person in Jordanstown and Belfast.
